If you are looking for a quick overview of Cape Town while you are in town or you are not hiring a car, then the red Hop On - Hop Off bus is one of the most cost effective and scenic ways to get around. The bus runs along two routes: the 18 stop Red Route and the 14 stop Blue Route. If you stay on the bus without hopping on and off at the various attractions, you can expect the trip to last 2 hours.
Planning to spend the day at Camps Bay or Clifton beaches? The red open-top bus is a convenient way to get there, since parking can be near impossible to find in the summer.
Looking for a way to capture on camera all those stunning views of cityscapes, ocean and mountains? Sit upstairs for unimpeded views of this wonderfully photogenic region.
Want to go winetasting, but don't have a designated driver? Head for Groot Constantia Wine Estate and the other Constantia Valley Wine Estates on the Hop On - Hop off Bus. The Wine Tour Bus is an extension on the Blue Mini Peninsula Tour. The first bus departs at 9:00 a.m. from CitySightseeing's Ticket Office outside Two Oceans Aquarium, V&A Waterfront. This service offers three Constantia Valley wine stops: Beau Constantia Wine Estate, Groot Constantia Wine Estate and Eagles' Nest Wine Farm.
Visitors can purchase tickets at any of the stops by boarding the bus and buying a ticket on board. Then jump on and off at the various stops as many times as you like throughout the day. Tickets are also available at Stop One at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

Hours of Operation
The first red tour bus leaves Victoria and Alfred Waterfront bus stop 1 at the Two Oceans Aquarium at 9:00 a.m. in summer and at 9:15 a.m. in winter. Departures are scheduled every 15 minutes in summer and every 20 minutes in winter.
The first blue tour bus leaves Victoria and Alfred Waterfront bus stop 1 at the Two Oceans Aquarium at 9:00 a.m. in summer and at 9:15 a.m. in winter. Departures are every 20 minutes in summer and every 25 minutes in winter.
